Indications:

- prior certain types of examinations done by a doctor;

- relieving the pain due to inflammation of the urinary bladder and the urethra.

Applied topically, Lidocaine has a beneficial effect on delaying ejaculation. That is why it can be used in a form of spray by individuals with PE (premature ejaculation). Lidocaine desensitizes the head of a penis allowing man prolong sexual activity.

MOA (mechanism of action):

Lidocaine is a local anesthetic, cardiac depressant and antiarrhythmia agent. It works by temporarily blocking the passing of pain signals along the nerve fibres to the brain. Lidocaine does this by preventing the sodium from entering the nerve ending at the site of the pain.
